I have worked in financial services since 1980 and been an Independent Financial Adviser since 1997. I started my own firm in 2000. I rejoined Simpsons of Brighton IFA as an Appointed Representative in 2007.

My qualifications are as follows.

 

Financial Planning Certificate 1,2 & 3 (FPC)

Mortgage Advice Qualification (MAQ)

AFPC Pensions (G60) 

Equity Release (CF7)

Home Reversion (HR1)

 

Previously I attained passes in the ACIB Banking exams in Economics and Accountancy and also The BEC National Diploma in Business Studies. 

 

My Business

I originally started trading from a room in my house and graduated to my garage. When my firm grew, I moved into premises in Hove Park and then in 2004, I moved to the premises at Hove Lagoon.

 

Specialities

I am qualified to undertake pension analysis and have done a lot of this type of work for other advisers, who are not so well qualified.

Also, I arrange equity release loans as well as residential and buy-to-let mortgages. I have recently arranged commerical borrowing.
